Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Description

• Reviewing and analysing accounts receivable ledgers
• Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
• Managing the collection process, ensuring prompt payments
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Responsible for credit control for your portfolio of customers
• Preparing monthly financial statements and reports
• Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Maintaining a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
• Complying with all financial regulations and standards
• Contribute to the month-end reporting and creating efficiencies
• Lead improvements to develop credit control processes

Profile

A successful Senior AR Analyst should have:

• A strong understanding of accounting principles
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a fast-paced, busy accounting environment and be comfortable working under pressure during the invoicing period at the beginning of each month
• Accounts receivable experience and general accounting knowledge
• VAT knowledge an advantage
• Technology savvy, the role requires you to understand and apply the data held on the firms multiple systems
• Excellent analytical skills
• High level of attention to detail to deliver the high degree of accuracy required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be numerate and have good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Confident communications skills to handle queries from clients and internal departments
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
• Education in Finance, Accounting or a related field
