Role: Senior AML Risk & Compliance Analyst – 12-Month FTC
Location: Sheffield | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: £35K–£45K + Benefits

About the Opportunity
This is a fantastic chance to join a collaborative, forward-thinking Law firm as a Senior AML Risk & Compliance Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role is based in Sheffield with hybrid working and offers a broad scope of responsibility across AML, sanctions, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct client due diligence (CDD) on new and existing clients and matters.
Assess risk related to jurisdictions, activities, and legal/regulatory context.
Carry out screening for PEPs, sanctions, and reputational issues through company search tools.
Own the full AML workflow process, escalating concerns where necessary.
Maintain and update client information in internal finance systems.
Provide support and guidance to staff and fee earners on compliance queries and processes.

About You

Experience in an AML, compliance, or risk role—preferably in a professional services environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to manage competing priorities.
Confident communicator with practical problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of AML frameworks and client onboarding procedures.
