We are renowned for our expertise in delivering these complex schemes and collaborate closely with some of the country's most prominent and well-known water companies and contractors. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer supporting our teams across Frameworks in the UK covering Wastewater & Clean water projects both non-infra and infrastructure. Role accountabilities: - Take a lead role on civil design and/or packages of work - Excellent communication skills - Liaise with other disciplines and coordinate designs with team members and supply chain - Liaison with client, the supply chain and other project stakeholders - Preparation of high-quality design drawings and associated other Construction-Ready documentation - Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables - Work in accordance with our Business Management processes and procedures - Assist in achieving wider business goals for positive Safety, Health, Quality and Sustainability outcomes - Promote a culture of innovation and fostering continuous improvement - Develop hands-on experience of commercial, programme and financial matters - Mentor and support the development of less experienced members of staff Qualifications & Experience: - Degree in Civil Engineering or other directly related degree - Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status and membership of a professional institution such as ICE, CIWEM, IWO - Strong technical design experience on water projects - Good working knowledge and understanding of Water Industry Clients and Contractors - Good delf-motivation, influencing and people management skills - Knowledge and experience of BIM led design and digital tools such as REVIT / Civils 3D - Good working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water Specifications.
