Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Senior Azure Devops Engineer (Contract) | £650-£700 p/day (IIR35) | Glasgow (5 days onsite)

We're looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer for a high profile client. The role is infrastructure- and deployment-focused (not development) and requires strong Terraform and Azure expertise. You'll be working on critical cloud initiatives including Subscription Factory and Fleet Management within a collaborative Agile environment.

Rate: £600-£700 (IIR35)
Based: Glasgow, 5 days a week
Length: 6 months contract (strong possibility of extension)
Start: ASAP

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and refine CI/CD pipelines
• Provision and maintain infrastructure in Azure using Terraform
• Execute and improve runbooks for environment deployment and adjustments
• Work with Azure services, subscriptions, networking, and event brokers
• Collaborate within an Agile, sprint-based delivery model (Scrum/Kanban hybrid)

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC)
• Deep knowledge of Azure core infrastructure
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, identity, and event systems
• Ability to work in a self-organizing, collaborative Agile team
• Comfortable with 5 days onsite in Glasgow

Experience in the financial/bnking sector is a MASSIVE bonus!
