Senior Bridge Engineer

Attention all Senior Bridge Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment would like to speak with you regarding a new and exciting Senior Bridge Engineer role with a top client of ours! They are seeking an individual with extensive experience and knowledge to join their team in a contract position. The successful candidate will work fully remote, however must be able to attend the clients office once a month.

Our client is a leading infrastructure, construction, and property development company, operating across various sectors, including construction, highways, healthcare, and environmental services.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and oversee bridge design, assessment, and maintenance solutions within budget and on time.

-Design solutions according to national standards and client requirements.

-Produce or oversee scheme documents and reports.

-Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and site-specific audits, as well as health and safety regulations including CDM.

-Report progress to clients and update line managers on programme status.

Key Requirements:

-Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE, MIStructE or equivalent).

-Strong experience of bridge design standards and analysis.

-Prior experience in a similar role within highways.

-Extensive experience of design manual for Roads and Bridges preferred but not essential.

-Knowledge of Lusas systems.

-Hold a CSCS Black card.

-Experience leading, managing, and delivering projects to requirements and budget.

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
