Senior Business Analyst - Central Government | Strong AI Experience Required

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in AI-focused programmes to join a major initiative within central government. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently work at the intersection of emerging technologies, data, and complex public sector environments.

• Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement across diverse government departments and partner organisations.

• Analyse and document current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable deliverable for technical and non-technical teams.

• Support the design and delivery of solutions that integrate AI technologies into existing systems and services.

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and other discovery activities with senior stakeholders.

• Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.

• Proven experience working on AI or data-driven initiatives, with the ability to translate business challenges into technical requirements.

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in central government projects.

• Solid understanding of government operations, structures, and policy-driven delivery.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments.

• Familiarity with ethical, regulatory, or compliance considerations in AI use.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams including data scientists, architects, and policy leads.
