Senior Indirect Buyer
Location: County Durham (due to the nature of the role, this will be 4 days onsite, 1 day working from home)
Salary: £55,000
Type: Full-time, 12-month fix term contract

We're looking for a commercially minded Senior Indirect Buyer to take ownership of indirect spend across multiple UK sites. This is a strategic role focused on consolidating and standardising categories such as IT, Facilities, Hygiene, HR, and Marketing - helping to unlock efficiencies and maximise value.

Day In The Life:
* Managing key categories of indirect spend and supporting strategic sourcing activities.
* Leading tenders, analysing bids, and awarding contracts aligned to policy and ESG goals.
* Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating favourable terms.
* Identifying savings opportunities across UK operations and supporting European initiatives.
* Working with internal stakeholders to understand needs and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
* Maintaining data accuracy within SAP and supporting invoice query resolution.
* Mentoring the Procurement Administrator and improving the Purchase to Pay process.
* Supporting wider procurement projects led by the Head of Procurement.

What We're Looking For:
* Strong experience in indirect procurement or strategic buying roles.
* Proven track record of managing suppliers and driving commercial outcomes.
* Confident communicator able to engage cross-functional stakeholders.
* Process-minded with good analytical skills and ERP experience (ideally SAP).
* A collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.

Package & Benefits: 12 month fix term contract -
* Salary up to £55,000 based on experience
