Senior Category Manager - 12 month FTC

A senior Category Manager to lead the Category relationship with some of our most strategically important customers and supporting the Sales team with the Internal Commercial Planning process.

Description

• Build and manage independent Category based relationships with Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Ahold Group (Benelux)
• Proactively identify gaps and opportunities across all customers, working with the Sales & Marketing Teams to close or address.
• Be the voice of the Customer & Shopper internally to champion & challenge where appropriate so that the business makes decisions based on facts, leading to better commercial decision making
• Inform and support the development of Annual Customer Business Plans
• Supporting the update and evolution of the Category Vision, working closely with the wider Category & Insight Team
• Day to day management of retailer data agencies

Profile

A successful Senior Category Manager will have:

• Significant experience within FMCG industry
• Has worked directly and independently with the Top 4 UK Grocery Mults
• Is literate with IRI/Nielsen and Kantar data - Nielsen
• Has experience of building strong customer relationships
• Is a confident presenter to both internal & external audiences with the ability to adapt style as required
• Has strong Excel & PowerPoint skills and the ability to bring data to life through data visualisation
• Access to Oxfordshire 2 days per week
