Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Senior Contracts Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

ROLE: Senior Contracts & Procurement Lawyer
LOCATION: London
RATE: £50.00 to £60.00 per hour umbrella (DOE and interview performance) / £53.30ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £47.56ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
CONTRACT: 3 months with strong possibility of extension

Please note that this position would require office attendance 1 day per week.

The Role of the Senior Contracts Lawyer

• To manage a mixed caseload of Contracts & Procurement matters through to completion varying IN SIZE AND COMPLEXITY
• Cases will include public procurement regulations, construction law matters /JCT building contracts, contracts for good and services, frameworks and local authority governance

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
• Previous contracts law and public procurement experience would be essential
