Interim Senior Commercial Finance Analyst
3-Month Contract (with strong potential to extend)

Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite - Birmingham

Contract Length: 3 months initially, likely to extend
Rate: Equivalent to c.£70,000 salary

We’re partnering with a high-profile organisation in the entertainment sector, looking to bring on board an experienced interim Senior Commercial Finance Analyst. You will be instrumental in helping the business better understand performance and make data-led decisions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the Finance Lead across a range of commercial performance analysis
• Building robust, easy-to-update reports in Excel and Power BI (backward and forward-looking)
• Analysing the sales pipeline - win/loss rates, conversion times, performance by individual
• Financial analysis
• Working with IT to develop a semantic data model for key sales & finance metrics
• Building insightful Power BI dashboards to drive decision-making
• Partnering with Sales, Finance, IT and wider teams

What They're Looking For:

• Advanced Excel skills and strong Power BI experience (dashboard creation + modelling)
• Commercial finance background, with experience building out reporting tools and insights
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with non-finance stakeholders
• Dynamics experience (CRM or ERP) is a bonus, but not essential
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is preferred
