Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Are you a hands-on commercial finance professional with experience in contract catering or a similar fast-paced, operational environment? This business is looking for someone who can make an immediate impact during a critical period of trading and planning.

Joining on an initial 3-month contract, you'll work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance to support decision-making across Sales and Operations. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who's used to rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in from day one.

The Role

You'll be a key commercial partner to the Sales and Operational teams, delivering actionable insights and supporting financial decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with Sales and Ops to analyse performance and provide real-time commercial insights

• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes during a key trading period

• Reviewing and refining sales reporting tools, pipeline tracking, and investment case analysis

• Producing clear and accurate reporting for senior leadership and contributing to strategic discussions

• Bringing a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to day-to-day challenges and opportunities

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)

• Strong commercial finance experience, ideally within contract catering, hospitality, or multi-site environments

• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders

• Confident working at pace, with minimal hand-holding-able to add value quickly

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
