Senior Cost Manager

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Senior Cost Manager for a period of around 3 - 6 months (potentially longer).

The role will involve providing Quantity Surveying duties within the organisations capital investment & refurbishment programmes. You will also lead and manage staff within the team.

The main duties of the role are:

• Prepare contract documentation on a variety of retrofit projects including external and internal refurbishments including kitchen, bathroom, rewire, heating and asbestos surveying and removal programmes.

• Liaise with Contractor(s) to produce valuations and final accounts.

• Preparation of tender documentation using a variety of contract forms.

• Ensure compliance with, and adherence to, current CDM regulations, including inputting into the development of Health and Safety Plans and Risk Assessments

Essential criteria for the role are :

• Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying

• Experience of delivering quality projects on time and within budget.

• Experience in the preparation of tender documentation and all aspects of budget development and project cost control.

• Knowledge of all current Building Contracts. Awareness of current CDM Regulations
