Senior Design Manager

Are you a Senior Design Manager looking for the next step in your career?

Here at Blueprint Recruitment one of our leading clients is looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis, with up to three days a week in their regional office.

Our client specialises in all facets of the Water sector, while providing water services across various other industries, including Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education.

Key Responsibilities of your role:

-Provide technical design work in accordance with relevant design standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

-Develop briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.

-Collaborate closely with teams in the UK and internationally to deliver integrated design solutions.

-Identify, communicate, and manage project risks effectively.

-Comply with quality assurance standards throughout the design process.

What we are looking for:

-Chartered Engineer.

-Proven experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build projects.

-Strong knowledge of water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection systems, with familiarity with current UK design standards and practices.

-Solid understanding of commercial, contractual, and program management aspects.
