Client: BAE Systems Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer Duration: 6-months Location: Portsmouth Broadoak Hourly Rate: £38.97 PAYE or £52.50 Umbrella Working Arrangements: 3 days pw on-site
About the Role:
This is a technical role providing support to legacy Electronic Systems and Equipment within the Submarine Support Motion Control Team.
Apply a breadth of knowledge, skills and experience of engineering and company approaches, techniques and governance.
Apply experience to design and develop solutions, resolve engineering issues and problems for a range of Analogue and Digital Electronic assemblies and/or Systems.
Work independently under limited technical direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply and adhere to company policies and or procedures.
Provide support to Electrical/Electronic Systems and equipment within the scope of the Submarine Support Motion Control Team.
Develop solutions to a range of Electrical/Electronic design problems or situations (E.g Obsolescence management, manufacturing and test support).
Work as part of a wider project team under limited technical supervision.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience of Analogue and Digital design, including component selection, evaluation, and preparing technical documentation.
Experience of design proving, integration, and defect resolution.
Experience of gathering evidence to support acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety.
Defence or Marine experience desirable
Experience with legacy systems desirable.
