Senior Finance Assistant

Join a locally well-known organisation as their new Senior Finance Assistant. This is a 6-month contract supporting an interesting part of the business.
You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive finance team. The role will provide support to revenue, capital budgeting and forecasting processes through high quality finance and administrative support. You’ll benefit from flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to take advantage of season ticket discounts.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Accounting Technicians with financial management and accountancy services.
• Assist in revenue and capital budgeting processes.
• Raise orders and invoices using financial systems.
• Reconcile expenditure and income accounts.
• Provide accurate and timely management information.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and other departments.

What you will need:

• Have the ability to form good relationships and provide a first-class service.
• Be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including senior officers.
• Have experience of and the skills needed to meet deadlines.
• Be an effective team player with a positive outlook, willingness to learn and a flexible approach to work.
