Senior Finance Business Analyst

Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office

Our Information Services client is seeking a Senior Finance Business Analyst to join them on a 6-month contract. You will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, reporting, and integration activities - with a specific focus on legal entity accounting and technical transactions. You'll be at the heart of their integration of Tarsus Group, helping to align and streamline financial processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Reporting:

• Lead FP&A activity across Technology costs and Group Services.
• Deliver consolidated financial reports, insightful commentary, and executive-ready PowerPoint presentations.
• Support M&A assessments and implement consistent planning processes across divisions.

Legal Entity Accounting:

• Own monthly and annual reporting for Head Office entities using SAP ByDesign.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, FX, intercompany loans, and management fees.
• Prepare and finalise statutory accounts and balance sheet analysis.

Finance Integration:

• Working with the Director, Planning & Reporting to continue progress on integrating the legacy Tarsus Group Finance operations and activities, winding down activity in the legacy Tarsus Head Office entities by the end of 2024.

Experience Required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in legal entity accounting, balance sheet ownership, and technical transactions (e.g., share capital, retained earnings, intercompany loans).
• Strong Excel skills and experience producing high-impact financial reports.
• Knowledge of SAP ByDesign is a strong plus.
• Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a global, dynamic, and fast-changing environment.
