Senior Finance Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding international sports business based in the heart of London with an ever-expanding footprint and a fantastic culture. Due to the continues growth, they require an energetic Senior Finance Manager to join the finance team on a 12 months FTC basis. This role is a hybrid working role.

The role:

• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and co-lead the accounting team, providing mentorship and daily support.
• Oversee general ledger activities and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Implement and improve key finance processes and internal controls.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and management reports.
• Approve payments and ensure transactions align with policies and contracts.
• Support audits (statutory and group), ensuring compliance and readiness.
• Provide revenue recognition guidance and review contract terms.
• Train junior staff and support finance system rollouts and special projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain finance documentation.

Skills And Experience:

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified, circa five years of post-qualified experience.
• Sports background (strong preference of Football)
