Senior Financial Accountant

The role is working within the business's UK Finance function reporting to the Financial Controller.

Ideally looking for someone with technical finance exposure, as well as having use of Dynamics 365.

Description

• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Monitor and improve internal financial controls and processes.
• Provide technical accounting advice to the wider accounting & finance team.
• Support ad hoc financial projects as required by the organisation.

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
• Solid experience in financial reporting and compliance within an accounting & finance environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
• Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
