We are exclusively partnered with a privately owned investment group in their search for an experienced Senior Financial Controller to take ownership of all accounting aspects for their Spanish property portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to take control of the financial reporting for a multi-asset portfolio in Spain and partner with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory accounts for the Spanish portfolio under Spanish GAAP

• Manage cash flow, interest payments, and dividends to optimise financial performance

• Lead monthly and quarterly closing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Provide financial analysis, including capex, profitability, and cash flow forecasting

• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making

• Prepare Board reports, MSCI performance reporting, VAT submissions, and CIS reporting

• Drive process improvement and change management initiatives

Minimum requirements:

• Spanish language skills are essential

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong real estate finance experience

• Expertise in Spanish GAAP and property finance, ideally from a consultancy or property management background

• Hands-on experience in accounting, FP&A, and finance partnering

• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders

• Excel proficiency and experience with accounting/property management software
