Senior GUI Developer - Investment Banking

We are seeking a Senior GUI Developer to hit the ground running who will lead the design and development of a high-performance, real-time Limit Order Application within our global eFX trading platform. This application will serve as a critical interface for traders and risk managers, enabling precise control and monitoring of limit order strategies across global markets.

This is a senior-level role requiring deep technical expertise in GUI development, a strong understanding of trading workflows, and the ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

What You Will Be Responsible For
Lead the design, development, and deployment of the GUI for the Limit Order Application.
Collaborate with traders, quants, and backend developers to build interfaces that support real-time order entry, modification, and price tracking.
Ensure the application meets high standards for performance, reliability, and usability under real-time trading conditions.
Drive the evolution of our GUI architecture and component libraries.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
Maintain a strong focus on risk excellence, code quality, and operational resilience.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in GUI development, ideally in financial services or trading environments.
Expertise in GUI frameworks such as Java or modern web technologies (e.g., React, Electron).
Strong programming skills in Java
Experience with real-time data visualization and performance tuning.
Prior experience leading development teams and coordinating global releases.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Familiarity with automated trading systems and market connectivity is a strong plus.

Rate: £600-675 per day
