Job Description - Senior Housing Lawyer

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a growing local authority, based in Berkshire, which needs a Senior Housing Lawyer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a complex caseload whilst making a lasting impact on the community.

Role: Senior Housing Lawyer
Location: Berkshire – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £60-£65ph
PAYE Rate inc. holiday: £52.76 - £57.11ph
Contract length: 3 months ongoing

Responsibilities of the Senior Housing Lawyer role:

Handle a caseload of housing law matters from start to completion.
Providing expert advice and guidance to the Council's Housing Service on all aspects of Housing and Homelessness law.
Be responsible for conducting cases in various courts, including the County Court, Magistrates Court, and High Court.

Key requirements:

Admitted Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive with a current practising certificate.
Extensive working knowledge and experience of Housing Litigation and procedure.
Proven experience of undertaking own advocacy in court.
