Job Description - Senior Housing Lawyer

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a growing local authority, based in Berkshire, which needs a Senior Housing Lawyer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a complex caseload whilst making a lasting impact on the community.

Role: Senior Housing Lawyer
Location: Berkshire – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £60-£65ph
PAYE Rate inc. holiday: £52.76 - £57.11ph
Contract length: 3 months ongoing

Responsibilities of the Senior Housing Lawyer role:
  • Handle a caseload of housing law matters from start to completion.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to the Council's Housing Service on all aspects of Housing and Homelessness law.
  • Be responsible for conducting cases in various courts, including the County Court, Magistrates Court, and High Court.
Key requirements:
  • Admitted Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive with a current practising certificate.
  • Extensive working knowledge and experience of Housing Litigation and procedure.
  • Proven experience of undertaking own advocacy in court.
