Senior HR Advisor

Fixed term contract Vacancy – Associate HR Business Partner

Location: Flexible/Home-based with travel to some sites (Bedford, Peterborough or Welwyn)
Salary: £35,000 per annum

Contract length: 9 months
Hours: Full time

As the first point of contact for HR queries in your area, you’ll provide practical, timely advice to managers and colleagues, helping them navigate everyday HR matters with confidence. Working closely with a Senior People Business Partner, you’ll support the delivery of local people plans, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the go-to HR contact for managers and staff
• Provide advice on policies, performance, absence, and conduct
• Support employee relations cases and prepare documentation
• Help roll out wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with the wider People Team to improve processes
• Stay up to date with employment law and HR best practices

What We’re Looking For

• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a generalist HR role
• Experience in the NHS/Healthcare
• Organised, responsive, and confident using HR systems
