About the Role Are you an experienced ICT professional looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting a Senior ICT Analyst to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation based in the beautiful New Forest. This is a key role where you’ll lead the development, enhancement, and support of core business applications, ensuring they run smoothly and securely for daily operations. It’s a fantastic opportunity to drive innovation, lead system improvements, and support business-critical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Act as technical lead for key ICT applications, offering expert guidance on infrastructure, functionality, and security.
Drive continuous improvement using service data and user feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to manage system changes and implement robust fixes.
Mentor and support junior analysts, graduates, and apprentices to promote knowledge sharing and team development.
Produce monthly reports, maintain accurate system documentation, and contribute to business continuity planning.
Ensure compliance with ICT security and contribute to disaster recovery initiatives.
Maintain licensing and contract awareness for supported applications.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in supporting and developing ICT systems and applications.
Strong skills in SQL Server (or equivalent), reporting tools, and Excel.
Understanding of ITIL principles – particularly incident, problem, and change management.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Degree or relevant ICT qualification.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
Desirable
Experience leading or supervising technical staff.
Evidence of continuous professional development in ICT or related fields.
