Senior Information Governance Locum – East Midlands – Rate DOE – Full Time – Hybrid – Initial 3+ months

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently working with a well-regarded Local Authority in the East Midlands to recruit a Locum Senior Information Governance Officer to join the team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Information Governance Officer to join a friendly Local Authority.

The Role:

Position: Locum Senior Information Governance Officer

Rate: DOE

Duration: Initial 3+ months with the possibility for extension

Location: Midlands – 1 office day per week is preferable

Hours: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Council with all information governance matters
• Manage FOI, SARs, and EIR requests as required
• Support the Data Protection Officer and liaise with the Ombudsman when required

About You:

• Experienced Senior Information Governance Officer
• A background of working within Local Government or the Public Sector
• Experience in managing a varied caseload of FOI, SARs, and EIR requests
