Job Description - Senior IT Support Analyst - Tech Bar

Senior Tech Bar Analyst - Up to £350/day - 6-Month Contract - Active SC Clearance Required
Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for service excellence? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tech Bar Analyst to join a government client on a 6-month contract, offering up to £350 per day.

About the Role


As a Senior Tech Bar Analyst, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service within the Tech Bar. You will provide escalation support for complex issues across BAU and project workloads, implementing ITIL best practices and driving operational improvements. This dynamic role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of Tech Bar appointments.
  • Act as the escalation point, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge articles, process documentation, and self-help guides.
  • Provide technical input into projects to enhance partner experience.
  • Ensure smooth transition of projects into live services, effectively transferring knowledge.
  • Monitor performance, ensuring Incidents and Requests align with OLA/SLAs.
  • Contribute to continual service improvement, aligning with business objectives.
Essential Skills
  • ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED
  • Experience working within a Service Desk or Helpdesk environment.
  • Understanding of ITIL / Service Management frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Broad IT knowledge, covering concepts and technologies.
Desirable Skills
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Familiarity with Lean/AGILE development methodologies.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
Additional Requirements


This role requires active SC clearance due to the nature of the work.
