We are seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant with significant SEN experience to join our team at a college in Twickenham. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with responsibilities related to special educational needs (SEN).

• Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
• Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of each student.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to education and development.
• Monitor and report on the progress of students, identifying any additional needs and adjusting support as necessary.
• Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated with the latest educational practices and standards for SEN.

• Extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant, with specific responsibilities in SEN.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
• Ability to work flexibly across different settings and adapt to varying educational needs.
