Senior Management Accountant
Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham
Pay Rate: £21.69 - £25.37 per hour
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Hospice, for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team, providing key financial support and advice to senior management and budget holders, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely financial information, adhering to Hospice procedures and timetables.
Provide complex financial analysis and advice to senior leaders, budget holders, and teams.
Support the Deputy Director of Finance with monthly and annual budget reports.
Produce detailed income and expenditure accounts, ensuring data integrity.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
Manage the fixed asset register and report on capital expenditure.
Offer training and support to financial colleagues, ensuring effective financial management across the Hospice.

Required Skills and Experience:

CCAB Qualified or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
Significant experience in an accountancy role within commercial, public sector, or charitable environments.
Strong experience in financial reporting, budget preparation, and cost analysis.
Proficiency with financial software, including Excel, Access, and Crystal Reports.
Ability to analyse complex financial data and communicate findings clearly.
Previous experience working closely with senior management and contributing to decision-making.
