Senior Management Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller an Interim Senior Management Accountant is now required for a leading Manufacturing business based in Redditch. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing financial reports, and implementing financial strategies.

Description

• Oversee financial operations within the company.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Knowledge of stock BOM routes and materials,
• Month end audit and stock take.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department in strategic decision making.
• Involved in perpetual inventory, rather than just year end, good understanding of standard costings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Participate in budget preparation and forecasting activities.

Profile

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:

• CIMA qualified.
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross functionally with non finance disciplines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
