Job title – Organisational Development Officer
Location – Cheshire, CW1
Contract – Temporary
Hours – Full time 37 hours per week,
Start Date: ASAP

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Organisational Development professional to join a forward-thinking HR function. This is a strategic and hands-on role, leading the design and delivery of organisational culture, engagement, and wellbeing programmes.

The role will be instrumental in embedding values-led change, driving employee experience, and supporting the wider Workforce Strategy. Line management responsibilities are included, so leadership experience within an OD or people development context is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team delivering OD programmes aligned to culture, values, and behaviours
  • Design and implement wellbeing strategies and initiatives that support a positive workplace environment
  • Deliver a programme of staff engagement activities, including leadership events and internal networks
  • Oversee the delivery of corporate induction and employee recognition initiatives
  • Develop and implement coaching and mentoring frameworks, including managing external providers
  • Use insight from staff surveys and audits to identify and drive improvements
  • Work collaboratively with HR and Communications teams to ensure alignment across functions

Essential Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience
  • Significant post-qualification experience within HR/OD
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering culture change, engagement, and wellbeing programmes
  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical capability to identify trends and deliver actionable insight
  • Familiarity with coaching frameworks and engagement tools
CIPD membership and experience with organisational development models and tools (e.g. MBTI) are highly desirable.
