Job Description - Senior Parking Projects Manager

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in South London are looking for an experienced Senior Parking Projects Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their Regeneration operations.

Position: Senior Parking Projects Manager
Location: South London
Salary: £400 a day umbrella (Negotiable)
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: 3 months possible extension

Key Responsibilities

Leading the delivery, to time and budget, of parking projects – identifying and managing funding streams, governance arrangements, and complex inter-dependent project plans.
Support the relevant Head of Service and Senior Parking Engineer in securing continuous development, improvement, efficiency and success of the department.
Provide financial estimates and statistics for annual capital and revenue budgets and detailed costs for specific projects of work / claims for payment.
Prepare Conditions of Contract and Specification using Standard Form necessary and prepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Rates and other tender documents.

Job Requirements

At least 2 years experience within a Parking Projects Management role or an equivalent role.
Candidate should be able to work on CAD and GIS systems to an expert level.
Previous parking design experience is an advantage.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of best practice in Parking Design and Delivery of Controlled Parking Zones.
Experience fulfilling all the requirements of Principal Designer under CDM (2015).
