Senior Partnership Tax Manager

One of my long-standing clients are looking for a Senior Partnership Tax Manager to join their Finance function on a 3 month fixed term basis.

This is a key senior role within the Finance team, the Partnership Tax Manager is responsible for all the internal business and personal tax advisory needs and all related external tax compliance.

You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of tax professionals, including a tax accountant and tax assistant.

Key responsibilities

• Management of the annual tax compliance timetable to ensure all reporting and payment deadlines are met.
• Management of partner tax accounting and reserving and members capital.
• Calculation of tax payments to relevant tax authorities including payments on account.
• Provision of tax expertise to financial projections and the tax aspects of the Firm's projects and initiatives.
• Managing the preparation of the annual PSA declarations and ensuring satisfactory internal budgetary controls.
• Review of VAT calculations and returns for the LLP and other entities within the group and providing guidance on VAT compliance to the Finance team and wider Firm.
• Support the financial control teams in the development and operation of transfer pricing policies.
• Providing ad-hoc guidance and advice to partners on their personal tax affairs.

Key requirements:

• Able to demonstrate a breadth of tax experience.
• The appropriate professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, CTA, ATT).
• Strong inter-personal and written presentation skills.
• Comprehensive analytical expertise and high-level Excel spreadsheet user experience.
