Job Description - Senior People Administrator

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee benefits and pensions? We're working with a leading organisation to find a Senior People Administrator to join their dynamic People team based in Croydon.

?? Location: Croydon (Hybrid working options may be available)
?? Type: Full-time, Permanent
?? Salary: £38-£40k

About the Role:

As a Senior People Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the People Administration & Benefits Manager. You'll be the go-to expert for pension and benefits queries, ensuring smooth and compliant processes across the employee lifecycle for a workforce of approximately 7,500.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deputise for the People Administration & Benefits Manager on projects and escalations.
  • Manage pension portals and HR systems (e.g., Oracle), ensuring accurate data handling.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, pension scheme rules, and internal policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to People Administrators and other stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to deliver timely and professional support.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in pension administration and employee benefits.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and data compliance (e.g., GDPR).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CIPD or CIPP certification is a plus.
