Job Description - Senior People Advisor

Senior People Advisor – 12 Month FTC | Cambridge (Hybrid)

We’re proud to be recruiting for a Senior People Advisor to join a respected organisation based in Cambridge on a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting ASAP.

What’s on offer:

Hybrid working with just 1 day on-site per week
The role can be offered on 4 or 5 days (28 or 35 hours)
A supportive, close-knit HR team

Your role will include:

Handling cases across sickness absence, grievance, disciplinary, performance, probation & flexible working
Advising managers on policy and HR best practice
Coaching employees and managers on well-being issues
Building strong relationships to guide stakeholders through ER matters
Creating manager capability to support future people issues
Analysing ER trends and sharing best practice.

Who we’re looking for:

CIPD qualified, ideally level 7
Experienced in a broad range of employee relations cases
Up to date employment law knowledge
Experienced in delivering learning content to upskill managers
Confident, relationship-focused, and solutions-driven
Values driven person who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
