Senior Project Manager/Delivery Lead

Reading - Hybrid working

12 Month Contract

£617/day inside IR35

Lorien's Utilities client are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager/Delivery Lead to join on a 12 month initial contract, inside IR35.

Role Purpose

Lead the delivery of business and technology change initiatives with a joint focus on Oracle Field Services (OFS) and Oracle Customer Experience (CX) solutions, ensuring operational improvements and enhanced customer journeys across business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end delivery ownership of Oracle OFS and Oracle CX projects, across both business and technology streams, with a focus on customer journeys and operational improvements.
  • Lead planning, resource management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of Oracle OFS and CX capabilities.
  • Manage third-party suppliers and internal teams through all phases of project delivery, ensuring alignment to both field operations and customer engagement strategies.
  • Facilitate adoption of OFS and CX functionality, driving business process improvements and ensuring business readiness for both operational and customer-facing teams.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed project delivery methodologies, governance, and reporting standards, supporting seamless integration of OFS and CX solutions.
  • Drive business-related change, including optimising business processes to support operational efficiency and enhanced customer experience.
  • Support the realisation of business case benefits through effective change delivery, ensuring improvements are measured across operational and customer engagement KPIs.
  • Lead change adoption activities, including stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and post-implementation support for both field and customer teams.
  • Conduct change impact assessments across people, process, and technology dimensions, focusing on end-to-end customer and field service journeys.
  • Oversee business readiness activities, ensuring operational and customer-facing teams are fully prepared to adopt and embed new processes and technology solutions.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering Oracle OFS projects or equivalent field service management systems.
  • Experience to Oracle CX (Customer Experience) solutions is highly desirable, with an understanding of customer service, case management, and digital engagement processes.
  • Strong understanding of field operations and the integration of business processes with technology solutions.
  • Experience in stakeholder management across operational business units and IT functions.
  • Proficient in project delivery frameworks including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
