Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home

Salary: £32,096 - £34,800 inclusive of sleep-ins
Location: Stoke ST7
Hours: Full-time

We’re looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team, supporting children and young people in a home that’s focused on making a real, lasting difference.

What we’re looking for:

Aged 22 or over (to meet Ofsted regulations)
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce
Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
A full manual UK driving licence

Your role as a Senior Support Worker:

Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
Be a positive role model, helping children build confidence and independence
Support children who may require high levels of care and supervision
Lead shifts and provide guidance to the care team
Ensure placement plans, rotas, risk assessments and safeguarding protocols are followed
Promote education, emotional wellbeing, and a safe, supportive environment

£50 per sleep-in
Clear progression to management with our Passport to Manage programme (Level 5 training)
Ofsted performance bonuses – £100 for ‘Good’, £200 for ‘Outstanding’ outcomes
