??Rate: £25.00-£30.00 per hour Based on Experience
??Contract Type: Initial 6-month contract with potential to go permanent

Hays is proud to be supporting a major transformation programme within a local council's Customer Services team. We're seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead the design of complex, interdependent services that make a real difference to people's lives and our client's organisation.
What You'll Do:

• Lead service design for complex digital products and services.
• Coach service areas to develop ambitious digital transformation plans.
• Set and uphold service design standards and best practices.
• Prototype and test service interactions to drive innovation.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver services from discovery to live.

What We're Looking For:

• Deep knowledge of service design methods and user research.
• Proven experience managing service design projects in large organisations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide strategic decisions.
• Strong facilitation, prototyping, and visualisation skills.
• A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in service design or a related field.
