Job Description - Senior Service Desk Analyst

Senior Service Desk Analyst

£150-£175 per day (umbrella)

3-6 month contract

Leicestershire

Our client is seeking a Senior ICT Service Desk Analyst to provide professional, efficient, and responsive technical ICT support services. This role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team whilst delivering excellent customer service through various communication channels.

Main Purpose

Our client's team needs a dedicated professional to provide first and second-line technical support across all end-point devices. You'll support their team to deliver efficient day-to-day operations within agreed Service Level Agreements whilst managing expectations of partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain and develop our client's ICT end point devices including computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones
  • Provide professional first and second-line technical expertise to end users and ICT colleagues
  • Deliver excellent customer services using telephone, face to face, email, video, and instant messaging
  • Work within agreed ISO/ITIL/Service Desk Institute management processes including Service Level, Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, Configuration and Release management
  • Procure ICT hardware, software and services whilst ensuring software licensing compliance
  • Create high quality documentation with supporting evidence and actions
  • Install, configure, roll-out, support and maintain ICT hardware, software and systems
  • Manage a large estate of mobile devices across multiple platforms

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable technical ICT skills to a good first/second line level
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer services in an ICT support environment
  • Self-motivated, independent team worker with excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Experience of working in an ICT environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of peripheral devices
  • Knowledge and understanding of smartphone and tablet devices across iOS, Android, and Windows platforms
