Role Overview:
As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing large-scale retail construction project. You will oversee site operations, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be client-facing, managing key stakeholder relationships, ensuring smooth communication, and making decisions on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on-site for major retail construction projects.
* Ensure all work is carried out to high safety and quality standards.
* Oversee and direct contractors and sub-contractors.
* Liaise with clients and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Maintain effective communication with all team members, ensuring the smooth running of operations.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
* Provide leadership to the site team, ensuring a positive and productive environment.

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, specifically within major retail projects.
* Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively.
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and multiple contractors effectively.
* A proactive approach to ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
* Ability to start on 12th May 2025.
* Available for an initial Teams interview.
