Senior Social Worker

Nurture Fostering are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker who can join a well-established Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating in Lewisham, Southeast London. This is a permanent full-time role, and an opportunity to work with a small independent family-owned fostering agency.

Very supportive and friendly team and managers
low caseload - 10 foster carers

Responsibilities of the Senior Supervising Social Worker:

To support and supervise 3 social workers
To hold a small caseload of 3-5 foster cares.
Training and development will be provided in order that the Senior Social Worker can step up and take the lead in investigations and referrals to third parties.
Support and encourage NQSW

Requirements:

A Social Work Qualification
Registration with social work England
Experience in Fostering or as a Local Authority Child Social Worker
Minimum of three years’ experience as a practicing social worker
Ideally you will hold a driving licence
