Senior Tax Director

Our Client, A Global E-Commerce brand, are looking to recruit an ACA/CTA Qualified Senior Tax Director, ideally avaialble on a short notice period for a 6 month fixed term contract with an option to go Permanent.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the Group’s global tax risk and minimizing its impact on both the business and its customers.
• Defining the Group’s global tax strategy, identifying direct and indirect tax inefficiencies, and implementing mitigating processes and controls.
• Reviewing and developing methods of working and reporting systems to maximize efficiency and reduce tax liabilities within the legislative framework, including responsibility for maintaining the tax control framework.
• Reacting promptly to legislative changes globally and ensuring the business builds the right systems and processes to remain compliant with legislation.
• Accountable for tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions, including filing returns and managing outsourcing contracts with advisors.
• Ensuring accurate end-to-end accounting and reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, data integrity, and preparing tax papers and forecasts for the CFO and Audit Committee.
• Liaising and managing relationships with tax authorities during routine audits and ad hoc enquiries, including preparing correspondence, participating in meetings, and maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders
