Job Description - Senior Tax reporting accountant

Senior Tax reporting accountant
Prepare VAT returns filing in various jurisdictions including UK for submission in a timely manner
Managing all EU indirect tax compliance and reporting for VAT, EC sales and intrastat obligations for submission to Fiscal agent
Ensuring VAT payments/repayments are paid/received on time
Performing reconciliations between EU and UK VAT General Ledger accounts and VAT returns. Preparing Balance sheets reconciliations for VAT.
Prepare and post VAT clearance journals to general ledger in a timely manner.
Responding to queries from various jurisdictions including UK tax authorities.
