Join a well-respected Housing Association based in Islington as a Senior Tenancy Officer, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality tenancy and leasehold management services to a diverse and vibrant community. THE ROLE
As a Senior Tenancy Officer, you will manage a patch of properties as a Housing Officer would, while also overseeing two Customer Service Advisors who act as the first point of contact for residents and cover reception on a rota. You will play a key role in rota management across teams and deliver hands-on tenancy management services to ensure residents are supported and tenancy compliance is maintained.

• Manage a housing patch and carry out full tenancy management responsibilities
• Supervise and support two Customer Service Advisors, including their rota and development
• Oversee the delivery of a high-quality first point of contact service via phone and reception
• Lead on casework involving ASB, tenancy breaches, sign-ups, tenancy checks, and mutual exchanges
• Take enforcement actions including court representation and evictions in line with policy
• Deputise for the Housing Manager when required
• Maintain accurate records on housing systems and produce professional correspondence

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in housing management and demonstrate proven ability to lead and supervise staff within a customer-facing housing service.

• Experienced in managing a caseload or housing patch with full tenancy responsibilities
• Competent in staff management, including supervision and rota planning
• Knowledgeable in housing law, ASB processes, and enforcement procedures
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office and housing management IT systems

THE CONTRACT
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Length of Contract: 3 Month Contract, potential for extension
Rate: The pay for the role is £27.70 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £23.77 per hour, inclusive of holiday. HOW TO APPLY
