£291 per day PAYE

Location -London of Manchester office - 5 days in the office

The LHH Accountancy & Finance team are delighted to be partnering with a global FMCG brand to recruit for a VAT Analyst to join the team.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of UK VAT returns
• P&L, balance sheet and VAT reconciliations
• Preparation of disclosures to HMRC
• Preparation of UK/Irish VAT returns and associated filings
• Preparation of Spanish, Italian and French VAT returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assistance with disclosures to HMRC
• Assistance with tax requirement documents
• Enhancing existing processes
• Interaction with wider compliance team and VAT advisory team

Payments on account

Ideal experience:

• Professional qualifications in ACA, ACCA or CTA
• VAT experts (compliance), not financial accountants
• Strong accounting/reconciliation skills
• Strong excel skills - pivot, v-lookup
• Ability to time manage and work autonomously
• Ideally strong post qualification experience
• European VAT experience (compliance)
• Experience of working in large complex organization
