Job Title: Senior Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Senior Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations.

• Goods Receipt: Accurately receive incoming deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity checks are completed.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload goods with precision and care.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of received goods, report discrepancies, and monitor stock levels.
• Stock Organisation: Store products in designated areas to ensure optimal warehouse layout and accessibility.
• Order Picking: Accurately pick and prepare items for dispatch in line with production schedules.
• Production Support: Transport materials to production areas and collaborate with production staff to ensure timely stock delivery.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, reporting any faults or issues promptly.

• Licenses: Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licenses are essential.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly with inventory control and order picking.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and hand-held scanners.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all tasks, especially order fulfilment.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Organisational Skills: Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions closely.
