Service Charge Accountant

Service Charge Accountant | 12 Month FTC | £45,000 | Hybrid | Greater Manchester

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable Housing Association who are looking to recruit a Service Charge Accountant to their busy finance team. The role is offered for an initial 12 month FTC, with hybrid working and a great benefits package.

Duties:

• Set Service Charge budgets for new and existing properties
• Carry out regular reviews to compare costs for all service chargeable properties
• Produce documentation of annual provision to service charge payers and leaseholders
• Conduct training and guidance on service charge related matters internally
• Support with year end process and identify sinking fund accounts
• Monthly management reporting, performance reports and budget production for service charge

Experience:

• Experience working in Social Housing in a Service Charge position
• Has been responsible for budget setting, audit, month end, year end for Service Charge
• Currently working towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA or fully qualified
• Strong business partnering experience including forecasting and budget setting
• Excellent excel skills with the ability to manipulate large volume of data
