Service Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Controller based in Biggleswade for one of our clients on a 12 month contract basis.

Summary of theService Controller role…

Salary: £31,814 - £33,865
Job Location: Biggleswade
Type of Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: 40 hour working week, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities of theService Controller

• Answer inbound calls and queries.
• Schedule maintenance, servicing and repairs of machines.
• Organise parts, labour and tooling to ensure efficient completion of any job.
• Close and invoice jobs justifying costs incurred.
• Communicate with Field Service Engineers to compile and prepare estimates.
• Raise sales orders, work orders, purchase requests and invoices.
• Processing and dealing with credit notes.
• Input engineer timesheets and overtime forms.

Requirements for a successful Credit Controller

• Experience working with and scheduling repairs and engineers previously.
• Warranty parts and service experience in the construction/plant industry.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Calm under pressure and able to handle multiple workloads.
• Well organised.
