Job Description - Service Desk Analyst

Service Desk Analyst

Location: Peterborough
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Hourly Rate: £13.35
Start Date: 7th July 2025
Working Pattern: Full Time (7am-7pm) 5 days a week (business is open 7 days) this will include at least one weekend a month

Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will:

  • Present a professional image to ensure a positive customer experience throughout their journey.
  • Communicate clearly and transparently to keep customers informed about their situations.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures to deliver compliant customer outcomes.
  • Challenge existing processes to enhance the customer experience and suggest improvements.
  • Manage incidents for vulnerable customers, providing the most appropriate support.
  • Record and resolve customer complaints effectively, striving for first-time resolution.
  • Report any breaches of operational processes and policies.
  • utilise various tools to maintain contact with customers, achieving favourable outcomes.
  • Apply effective questioning techniques to understand customer circumstances and manage incidents promptly.

Skills Required:

  • Confident telephone manner and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work towards targets, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with great attention to detail.
