Trainee Service Technician * calling all recent college graduates*!!!

Working hours: 08.00 - 16.30
Monday - Friday
Pay rate £13.80/h

I am representing a global well-established IT company who is looking for a keen person, ideally recent college graduate who would like to grow current skills and advance future career. This role involves working with a wide range of electronic and mechanical test and measurement equipment, learning to understand various measurement instruments, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain multiple test stations, typically controlled via PC-based programs.
- Perform manual measurements of electronic signals using appropriate test equipment.
- Communicate with customers to provide progress updates.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve key performance metrics.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A to C) including Mathematics, English, and Physics.
- A-level or BTEC qualifications in Electronics Engineering are advantageous.
- Previous experience in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and electronic test and measurement is beneficial.
- Good knowledge of computer architecture and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
