Start Date - 9th July 2025

£375 per day CIS, £280 per day PAYE

Isle of Wight

We are working on a large industrial project on the Isle of Wight and we are looking for a setting out engineer to join the existing site team. This is a long term position running until February 2026. Applicants must be fully qualified and experienced.

As a Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Setting Out
• Preparing and analysing data for set out
• Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Station, GPS and Data Collectors
• Maintain strong Health & Safety standards
• Build and maintain relationships with clients ensuring we deliver projects to exact customer requirements

Job Requirements;

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3+ years experience site based setting out (preferable Civils background)
• Fully conversant with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments, GPS, etc to complete accurate set out
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required
• Good communication skills and reliable individual.

Standard Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm
