Job Description - Side Loader Driver

Role: Side Loader Driver
Location: Dudley
Rate of pay: £13.50 to £15.50 per hour, dependant on experience
Hours of work: 7am-5pm Monday to Friday

As a Side Loader Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a side loader to transport materials and products within the manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by efficiently handling and moving loads, supporting warehouse functions, and maintaining the safe flow of materials to the production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate the side loader to move materials, supplies, and products within the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles, ensuring proper placement and handling of materials.
Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on the side loader equipment.
Assist in inventory management and track material movement.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support daily operations.
Maintain accurate logs of materials transported and any issues that arise during operations.

Experience required:

Proven experience operating a side loader or similar heavy equipment (preferred).
Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
